Thursday Finds On Folksy!!!

Today I decided to make a special Blog featuring some finds from Folksy that I believe are great for Mum this Christmas.
My own Mum is a very Special Person to me not only is she the one person who has taught me right from wrong, she's one of my Closest Friends and will forever remain dear to my Heart.

To start with I would like to share a little poem I wrote for my wonderful little boy.

When I became a Mother!!!

When I became a Mother my life was suddenly planned,
Sleepless nights an messy hair, replaced the sexy tanned.
The bags under the eyes, well they weren't far behind,
Whenever he's not there the worries on my mind.

When I became a Mother, a little boy I got,
Mad drunken nights can all be forgot.
Dinner then bath-time, shortly followed by bed,
Now I have to tidy up and rest my busy head.

When I became a Mother, the worries flowed in fast,
A straight 8 hours of sleep was all I would of asked.
The mornings come to early, the bedtimes too late,
I'll be grey before I'm 30 if we carry on at this rate.

When I became a Mother, time for me was dead,
"Oh no, my god, he's painting the carpet RED"!!!
A relaxing bath became just a dream,
I am now programmed a mother machine.

When I became a Mother, multi-tasking was the way,
Cooking dinner, mopping the floor, with no extra pay.
My hands renamed asbestos, my mind renamed a book,
If you think this is a walk in the park, feel free to come take a look.

When I became a Mother, I became so very very rich,
Rich with love you can not buy, my life I would not ditch.
You see although there are the hard times, there's the good ones too,
And I simply wouldn't be without my little boy in blue.

When I became a Mother, I'd never in my life been so proud,
I wanted to sing from the rooftops and shout it out loud.
To love you as I do in this world there is no other,
You became my life, When I became your Mother...
